The Works is one of the UK's leading family-friendly value retailers of arts and crafts, stationery, toys, and books, offering customers a differentiated proposition as a value alternative to full price specialist retailers.

Our leadership

The Company has adopted the Quoted Companies Alliance (“QCA”) Corporate Governance Code, and has also retained additional governance arrangements which were in place prior to its admission to AIM (when it was required to comply with the UK Corporate Governance Code) to the extent that the Boad has deemed those arrangements to be appropriate and commensurate with the Company’s size and structure.

TheWorks.co.uk plc shares are quoted and traded on AIM, a market operated by the London Stock Exchange plc. Its shares are not traded on any exchange or trading platform other than AIM.

The total number of TheWorks.co.uk plc ordinary shares of 1p each in issue as at 6 February 2025 is 62,500,000. No shares are held in Treasury.

Approximately 41.13% of issued shares are not in public hands.

There are no restrictions on the transfer of TheWorks.co.uk plc shares.
